Spring 2020 Soccer Cancelled

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the EYSA spring soccer season is officially cancelled due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. This is a decision that came from our ESSL board after careful evaluation of the current situation. For anyone who wishes to read the announcement letter from the ESSL President, it can be found here. We understand the weight of such a decision and fully support the decision the ESSL has made. That doesn't make this any easier though and we understand many will feel disappointment over this decision and may have questions. If there is anything we can do to help you during this time please let us know. We ask that you please be patient as we move forward with a plan to refund everyone from spring 2020 registration in a timely and systematic manner.

In an effort to more quickly refund money to our active spring 2020 participants, the EYSA is creating a Venmo account and will offer to refund registration money via Venmo to anyone who currently has a Venmo account or wishes to create one. Information about Venmo can be found at https://venmo.com/. We understand some people may prefer a check in the mail and that is fine too. We are asking for the primary account holder to use this Refund Request Google Form to indicate whether you would like your refund sent via Venmo or traditional mail and provide your necessary refund information to us. Please go to the Google Form link above and submit your information by Sunday, March 29, at 5pm. At that time, we will collect all responses and begin the process of refunding everyone currently enrolled in spring 2020 soccer.

For anyone who ordered a new uniform through Ortinau Art we have those in and will work on coordinating porch drop-off deliveries while continuing to practice safe social distancing. These uniforms can be reused season after season for as long as they fit your soccer player.

Tough times create tough people and we will get through this together. We hope you will continue to have fun playing soccer at home during this time and we look forward to having you participate in our soccer program in the future. Stay safe and stay strong!
