- We ask that you do not bring your dog to the soccer fields. Dogs can be a rather large distraction to the players on the field and at times can take away from the game play and practice concentration. Another issue is that some owners who bring their dog do not clean up after their dog. Lastly, there has been at least one instance of dogs getting into fights with other dogs at soccer games. This poses a safety concern for all. Many parks/fields don't allow dogs and there is a strict no dog policy for the tournament. If you feel you must bring your dog along, we ask that you not be on the sidelines during any games or practices and that you clean up after them. Also, before taking your dog along on any outing please check the dog policy for that specific location.
- Remember to pack some bug spray along with all your other essential items when heading out for the soccer fields, especially if you will be there for an evening practice or game!
- All players, coaches, parents, volunteers, spectators and others associated with the EYSA are expected to adhere to the highest standards of sportsmanship and ethics and commit to follow this EYSA Code of Conduct.
Thank you for your cooperation in complying with these guidelines and working together to keep everyone safe. As always, if you have any questions you can always email the board at eastwoodyouthsoccer@gmail.com.
